Dr Chau N. Pham DO, MPH
Dr Chau N. Pham is Board Certified in Geriatrician since 2000 and Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine since 1998 through the American Board of Family Practitioner. She received her Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a two year Fellowship in Geriatrics at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNT-HSC). During her Geriatric Fellowship she also completed her Master of Public Health degree. Dr. Pham did her Medical Acupuncture training through the Helms Medical Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Pham has presented Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) and the Geriatric patient as a guest lecturer locally and nationally. Currently Dr. Pham contributes to the academic community by educating future physicians. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Manipulative Medicine Department at UNT-HSC.
Prior to opening Angel’s Star Wellness Center, P.A., Dr. Pham served as Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Geriatrics at UNT-HSC in Fort Worth, TX for 6 years. She educated medical students, physician assistant students, interns, residents, and Geriatric Fellows, conducted medical research and treated patients.
Dr. Pham is practices a “Whole person” approach to medicine. She incorporates Western and Eastern philosophy into practice by using acupuncture, OMT, herbs, vitamins, and prescription medicine to keep the body in balance. She is passionate about maintaining function and balance.
Dr. Jennifer Trinh is a board certified family physician through the American Board of Family Medicine. Her love for medicine started as an undergraduate in pursuit of her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She was determined to become a physician through extensive community service and work as a medical assistant & pharmacy technician. Prior to entering medical school, she completed her Master of Science in Toxicology at Colorado State University and Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Trinh received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from Midwestern University (Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine). She subsequently completed her family medicine residency at Medical City Fort Worth in 2019. As a family physician, Dr. Trinh incorporates preventive medicine, osteopathic manipulation therapy (OMT) and integrative medicine as a substantial part of her practice.
Dr. Trinh is currently working on an outreach project for the Texas Academy of Family Physicians (TAFP) as part of the family medicine leadership experience. She has created a YouTube channel called Viet Docs for the Vietnamese community as a social media resource that allows patients to be active in their health care by educating them in their own language (Vietnamese).
